  • We give attention to the North american Washington State Standards and Benchmarks/activities inspired by the REGGIO EMILIA APPROACH.
  • The objectives of the kind of Education is the simple fact it supports all students regardless of rate of learning.

Five major aspects of child development

  1. Social-emotional
  2. Physical
  3. Language
  4. Cognitive
  5. Aesthetic Disciplines

Domain 1 (physical health, motor development)

  1. free' reducing from magazines and gluing onto paper.
  2. colour and cut out their characters
  3. wrapping wool around a star!

Domain 2 (social emotional personal development)

Kids practice their social skills when we teach them not to push, draw, jump on our friends and how we have to respond in class.

If a child is being troublesome especially in circle time they can occasionally be put on a 'listening chair'. They are NOT REALLY excluded from the ring but teachers describe that sitting on the couch may help them listen to what is being reviewed in circle time.

Right now there are strategies we use like ringing a bells. This is when children know they should stop what they are doing and set their hands together and listen to instructions.

This kind of is an effective way of getting control of a school without needing to raise ones words.

Domain 3 (Expressive Arts)

Themes are wonderful tools for arts and projects and the kids can really let their imaginations soar! From sensory play to mixing dough and colors.

We inspire and have children how they feel something should look like. THAT THEY CREATE.

THEY EXPLORE WITH OUT OUR INTERFERENCE IN ANY KIND OF WAY.

Domain 4 (Cognitive, Mathematical Development)

Counting QUANTITIES backwards FORWARDS is not considered cognitive development. Knowing a condition or what sort of number appears does not deepen their understanding on the particular that means of this condition they see. They need to manipulate objects and explore weight and size.

Website 5 (Literacy, Language, Interaction Development)

Letters, vocabulary and regular talking.

Sounds in order that the condition commences to make meaning for reading willingness.

Joining in circle as well as especially to sing our good morning songs and calendar.

Stories/books need to be part of the infant's life on a daily basis. The afternoon lessons always have a great deal of tales to read to the kids.

What is the nursery's greatest quality/ strength?

Because one of the top preschools and nurseries in Abu Dhabi, Odyssey English/French Nursery believes that a child's first steps are the main and they will set them on the path of life. We all strive to ensure that the first steps are the best steps, with our commitment to a Holistic approach to education presented in not one but THREE languages.

Journey English French Nursery is considered one of the better nursery universities in Abu Dhabi because we believe in disclosing children to two or even more languages from an early on age. Our English, French and Arabic classes will give your child the power of communication in an increasingly interconnected global community and provide the tools so they can become successful members of society.

Journey English French Nursery has a "learn through play" approach in which learning a language is rather than an objective in itself, but rather just one way of communicating with others. We are focused on Early on Years Education children are actively engaged through conceptual and experiential play in order to confront real problems, make choices, and find solutions. This leads us to developing the whole child socially, psychologically, intellectually and physically. Exploration suggests that using 'play' is usually the most effective means to learning.

The Vision for the early childhood education at Odyssey English French Baby room School is to provide a learner-centered approach to education where each child will build up academic excellence, sociable responsibility and personal honesty supported by a proper community culture in a growing, joyful, nurturing very safe learning environment. It works to meet the educational, social and emotional needs of each child while under the nurseries areas, in order to arrange them for success in a rapidly changing world.

Jointly, our goal is to get ready your child for the future.
